Plain English
Why write one word when you know lots of words?
Why use a short word if you know a longer "more
impressive" one? Writers often think that they will
make their point more effectively if they use long, difficult
words and complex sentences.
In business the opposite is nearly always true: the aim
of business writing is to get the message across as quickly
and clearly as possible.
